 Yes!, depreciation is allowable on purchase of asset for business purpose by cash, subject to certain conditions. The asset must be used for the business or profession of the assessee, and it must be owned, wholly or partly, by the assessee. The asset must also have a useful life of more than one year. However, there is a restriction on claiming depreciation on assets purchased in cash. Section 43 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, disallows the capital expenditure incurred in cash for certain specified assets, including fixed assets. This means that if you purchase an asset for your business in cash, you will not be able to claim depreciation on the cost of the asset. There are a few exceptions to this rule. For example, you will still be able to claim depreciation on assets purchased in cash if the amount of the expenditure does not exceed Rs. 20,000. UIDAI Latest News: Now you will be able to correct Language, Name, Gender, DOB, Address Online

 Update AADHAAR Online 



The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has given good news that now applicants can change Name, DOB,Gender, Language, Address online by paid application fees of Rs. 50.

Earlier only Address 
could have changed online , when for updation of Name, DOB, Gender, Language etc. applicants need had to go Aadhaar Centre (Jan Seva Kendra).

After this announcement of UIDAI applicants can be able to update Name, DOB, Gender, Language, Address Online without any hesitation ( hassle-free ), But for this updation applicants must need to Valid Mobile number is linked with UIDAI Database (Aadhaar) and UIDAI has been brought a limit on time of updation of Name, DOB, Gender, Language. Hence need to careful when update Aadhaar.  This restrictions of number of times (Attempts) update, Name,Gender,DOB are as follows:

1) Name : 3 Attempts

2) Gender : 1 Attempt

3) DOB : 1 Attempt

There is no restriction of attempts on change of Address.

ONLINE PROCESS OF UPDATING AADHAAR NAME, GENDER, DOB ETC. :

Step - 1 : Go to the Official website of UIDAI SSP Portal https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/ ( Click Here ) and click on 'Proceed to Update Aadhaar' tab.

Step - 2 : Then redirected to you ( applicant) on this page and enter valid Aadhaar number, Captcha code, and then click on 'Send OTP' tab and after that enter received OTP in respective space and then click on ' Log-in' tab.

Step - 3 : Then will be redirected to you (applicants) on this page, then click on 'Update Demographic Data'  tab.

Step - 4 : Then will be redirected to you this new Page, select any feilds you want to update and then  tick on 'term and condition' , 

then click on 'Proceed' tab.

Step - 5 : Thereafter will be redirected to you (applicants) on this next Page ,then enter your correct name and upload supporting documents as mentioned from above 👆 list (any one) then click on 'Preview' tab.

Step - 6 : Thereafter you/applicants will seen preview details and enter valid Captcha code and click on 'Send OTP' tab. Then enter received OTP and click on 'Make Payment' tab/button. 

Step - 7 : Then you (applicants) will be redirected on make payment details choose applicable payment mode from Debit/Credit Card and Net Banking and to pay Rs. 50 fees by gateway .

Then enter required payment details and click on 'Proceed' tab. 

Step - 8 : Thereafter you can get payment Aknowledgement Receipt for ssup demographics Update . In which mentioned URN number save it for future reference and Tracking of Aadhaar Update Status Online.

Step - 9 : Thereafter you can Check Aadhaar Update Status Online after 5 to 6 day's and Download Updated E-Aadhaar.

And then enter valid Aadhaar number, URN number, captcha code and then click on 'Check Satus' tab.
