Is depreciation allowable on purchase of fixed assets by cash, Which used for bussiness purpose?

 Yes!, depreciation is allowable on purchase of asset for business purpose by cash, subject to certain conditions. The asset must be used for the business or profession of the assessee, and it must be owned, wholly or partly, by the assessee. The asset must also have a useful life of more than one year. However, there is a restriction on claiming depreciation on assets purchased in cash. Section 43 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, disallows the capital expenditure incurred in cash for certain specified assets, including fixed assets. This means that if you purchase an asset for your business in cash, you will not be able to claim depreciation on the cost of the asset. There are a few exceptions to this rule. For example, you will still be able to claim depreciation on assets purchased in cash if the amount of the expenditure does not exceed Rs. 20,000. Congress veteran Ahmed Patel passes away following Covid complications

Ahmed Patel, who was the Treasurer of the Indian National Congress, had tested positive for   the   COVID-19 on October 1 Condolences are coming in from all quarters for senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel who died Wednesday at 3:30 am at Medanta hospital in Gurgaon. Patel died at the age of 71 due to multiple organ failure after testing positive for Covid-19. Ahmedbhai Mohammedbhai Patel, better known as Ahmed Patel was an Indian politician and Member of Parliament from the Indian National Congress. He was the political secretary to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. In a tweet, Faisal said that the Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat died at 3.30 am on Wednesday. ‘निवार’ चक्रवाती तूफान हुआ परिवर्तित

बंगाल की खाड़ी के दक्षिण-पश्चिम में बना कम दबाव का क्षेत्र तेज होकर आज सवेरे चक्रवाती तूफान निवर में बदल गया। इसके प्रभाव से तमिलनाडु और पुद्दुचेरी के विभिन्‍न जिलों में व्‍यापक वर्षा हुई है। चेन्‍नई में कल शाम से रूक-रूक कर वर्षा हो रही है। चेन्‍नई में मौसम विभाग ने बताया है कि तूफान निवर पिछले तीन घंटे से स्थिर है। इस समय यह पुद्दुचेरी से चार सौ दस किलोमीटर दक्षिण-पूर्व में और चेन्‍नई से चार सौ पचास किलोमीटर दक्षिण-पूर्व में स्थित है। अगले 24 घंटे में इसके तेज होकर भीषण चक्रवाती तूफान में बदलने की संभावना है। यह कल शाम तक पुद्दुचेरी के निकट मामल्‍लपुरम और कारैक्‍कॉल के बीच तट को पार कर लेगा। इसके प्रभाव से प्रति घंटा एक सौ से एक सौ बीस  किलोमीटर की रफ्तार से हवाएं चल सकती हैं।

भारत ने अफगानिस्तान के साथ शतूत बांध निर्माण की घोषणा की

विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस. जयशंकर ने जेनेवा में 23 से 24 नवंबर तक आयोजित हो रहे दो दिवसीय, अफगानिस्तान सम्मेलन 2020 में भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल की अगुवाई वीटीसी के जरिए की।  सम्मेलन की सह-मेजबानी संयुक्त राष्ट्र, इस्लामिक रिपब्लिक ऑफ़ अफ़गानिस्तान और फ़िनलैंड के द्वारा की गई। इस सम्मेलन का उद्देश्य 2015 से 2024 के दूसरे भाग के दौरान दुनिया भर में हो रहे बदलावों के बीच अफ़गानिस्तान के प्रति अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुदाय की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाना है। अफगानिस्तान सम्मेलन 2020 में भारतीय विदेश मंत्रालय ने अफगानिस्तान के साथ शतूत बांध के निर्माण के लिए एक समझौते की घोषणा की। यह बांध काबुल शहर के 20 लाख निवासियों को सुरक्षित पेयजल प्रदान करेगा। इससे पहले भारत ने अफगानिस्तान के काबुल शहर को बिजली प्रदान करने वाली 202 किलोमीटर की फुल-ए-खुमरी ट्रांसमिशन लाइन का निर्माण किया था। विदेश मंत्रालय ने अफगानिस्तान में हाई इम्पैक्ट सामुदायिक विकास परियोजनाओं के चौथे चरण को शुरू करने की घोषणा की। इस परियोजना के तहत भारत अफगानिस्तान में 80 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर की लागत से 100 परियोजनाओं का आरंभ करेगा।  विदेश मंत्र...

The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Tuesday said China and the World Health Organization (WHO) are discussing a trip for experts to investigate the origins of COVID-19 and the details of the trip to China will be released in a timely manner. On Monday, the WHO emergencies director Michael Ryan said that they had received reassurances from Beijing that international experts would soon be able to travel to China to help probe the animal origins of COVID-19. In May, the annual meeting of World Health Assembly (WHA), the decision-making body of the Geneva-based WHO, passed a unanimous resolution to probe the origin of the virus.   बाइडन अमेरिका के नए राष्ट्र पति के रूप में 20 जनवरी को अपना कार्यभार संभालेंगे।  गौरतलब है कि सत्ता हस्तांतरण के लिए जिम्मेदार संघीय एजेंसी जीएसए की प्रमुख ने कहा था कि वह बाइडन को व्हाइट हाउस में आने के लिए जरूरी संसाधन मुहैया कराएंगी, जिसके बाद ट्रंप का यह बयान आया है।  ट्रंप ने हालांकि, इस बात पर भी जोर दिया कि वह 'लड़ाई जारी रखेंगे और जीत हासिल करेंगे।' अमेरिका में तीन नवम्बर को हुए चुनाव में राष्ट्रपति पद के लिए बाइडन और उप राष्ट्रपति पद के लिए कमला हैरिस को विजेता घोषित किया गया है, लेकिन ट्रंप ने अभी तक अपनी हार स्वीकार नहीं की है।
