 Yes!, depreciation is allowable on purchase of asset for business purpose by cash, subject to certain conditions. The asset must be used for the business or profession of the assessee, and it must be owned, wholly or partly, by the assessee. The asset must also have a useful life of more than one year. However, there is a restriction on claiming depreciation on assets purchased in cash. Section 43 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, disallows the capital expenditure incurred in cash for certain specified assets, including fixed assets. This means that if you purchase an asset for your business in cash, you will not be able to claim depreciation on the cost of the asset. There are a few exceptions to this rule. For example, you will still be able to claim depreciation on assets purchased in cash if the amount of the expenditure does not exceed Rs. 20,000. भारत सरकार ने 43 और मोबाइल एप पर बैन  लगा दिया है।जिनमें से ज़्यादातर चाइनीज हैं। आईटी ऐक्ट की धारा 69A के तहत यह कार्रवाई की गई है। 

सरकार की ओर से बताया गया है कि कार्रवाई यह इनपुट मिलने के बाद की गई है कि ये ऐप्स भारत की संप्रभुता, अखंडता, रक्षा, सुरक्षा और कानून व्यवस्था के खिलाफ गतिविधियों में लिप्त हैं। इन ऐप के भारत में इस्तेमाल पर रोक का फैसला गृह मंत्रालय के इंडियन साइबर क्राइम कॉर्डिनेशन सेंटर की विस्तृत रिपोर्ट के बाद लिया गया है.
